Kate Hancock is a woman with a big goal - she wants to inspire 100 million entrepreneurs in the world to reach their true potential. Known as the ‘Pivot Queen’, Kate has had her hands in many industries and is a serious contender in the entrepreneurial world. 

Where She Came From

From the Philippines, Kate grew up in a family that was all about work ethic. She started working as early as ten years old when her grandmother started a family business and needed extra help. 

She moved to the United States after she graduated college and was able to hustle up the ranks while working at various jobs. She worked for Costco, Estee Lauder, and other small, odd jobs. Eventually, she started her own side hustle while she was on the clock and was able to scale her business to $15 million dollars. 

Kate went to Harvard Business School and used the incredible wealth of knowledge that she gained there to continue to innovate and work as an entrepreneur. 

Where She Is Now

Now, Kate is working hard to inspire others and to use her story to provide motivation and education for future entrepreneurs. She is working to find opportunities in the metaverse as well as the new generation of the internet. NFTs are especially another opportunity that people can have real value in launching new projects. 

Her advice to entrepreneurs? “Pay attention.”

Kate believes that new opportunities and innovation are the pathways to success for entrepreneurs. However, you will only find these opportunities by looking at the trends to see what you can do to start innovating.

“You really need to pay attention because it is a way of, you're really creating opportunities, whether you're from anywhere in the world, right? It's decentralization, that concept is it’s for everyone. That's the beauty of it.”
